Unplug

The title of this short post is called unplug. Is actually quite simple to do but the concept and thinking is hard so we constantly use it. Basically just press only one button to switch off and switch on. The fact that we live in a busy world we all face challenges and temptations daily maybe just part of the progress and process to go through life. From experience i have both accomplish and fail many times . Is not the ideal situation in this modern era we all love to socialise with each other through facebook or Twitter less and less on Email or phone or human face to face.

There is actually no such thing as failing in life just doing it wrong and not the right way. After all there is no right way until you master/(practice and practice) to make it perfect just like the saying ” Practice makes perfect” . Without trying or taking a risk in life you won’t get better in the specific thing you trying to do.  Disconnecting my phone and restricting the use of any social network for a week or longer can be a wonderful experience to spend more time with God and relationship with friends.

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:2-4 ESV).

At the end of the day it is your own choices to decide what’s the right way. I am not saying this is the right and only way more like we all need self-control. Just pace yourself from time to time and try to tell yourself you can spend more time doing other stuff than checking your phone or turning on the computer. I am no expert in this set of skill but one thing for sure is that i can try and persist.  Honestly speaking is possible to do but with technology and media both dictate our everyday life we are easily tempted and fell in to the trap.  The trap can be a messy path but also a clean path just like how you use your time wisely.

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. ”
(Matthew 6:24 ESV)
